New Haus.

New Haus.

Today we did two important things..

1. We went and did the last walk through on the house to make sure everything is up to par. Well, frankly we found A LOT of little nit picky things, but that is what the “walk-through” is for… It was also terribly boring and I had to try REALLY hard to be an adult and just deal. Mark will probably say I failed πŸ™ Oh well, I found things wrong. Here is the front of the house and the back of the house πŸ™‚ We have a VERY large yard considering the placement and all the other houses around have 1/3 the size of yard!! It is going to be amazing fun this summer!

Here is the front and back yards ( we are gonna put a swing on our front porch!!!!)

There is also a lot of room to plant my flowers! Remember those seeds I planted? Yea, well, they have REALLY grown! They need to be replanted something terrible. Ermintrude is starting to disappear behind all those flowers!

The second thing πŸ™‚ We got our marriage license!!!! SOOO EXCITING!!! Now I just have to book our wedding stuffs πŸ™‚ Mark was super giddy and happy during it all πŸ™‚

Lastly, this evening Mark and I packed up a good 7 boxes from around the house and had a lovely dinner. He also opened up a very nice 14 year old wine that I think he has been hanging onto for a while πŸ™‚ YUMMMY!! We have been sipping on that. I was quite done packing after 7 boxes… I just don’t have the attention span for a lot. Guh. I need my distractions.

Oh! Dinner was fun tonight! I made a mushroom, red pepper, jalapeΓ±o, onion burgers… with avocado and swiss cheese πŸ™‚ On the side we had turmeric sweet potato cooked in coconut oil! YUMMY!!

Here is the mushroom melange

The yummy sweet potatoes!

I even used some of the herbs I grew from seeds πŸ™‚ Mainly parsley as a garnish but I still used them!

And this is the final product:) Β I had mango so I put a little bit of that on our plates as well with a sprinkle of dill πŸ™‚

Mark always comments on the fact that when I say “We’re having burgers for dinner”, he always knows it isn’t just a boring burger. He always states how creative I make ALL the simple foods we eat πŸ™‚ Gosh, I love this man who actually appreciates my cooking and loves me for me! Couldn’t get any better.

Now it is time to take the dog out for a wonderful walk. πŸ™‚ I love the excuse to go on a walk.
